Obsessive Cleaning Disorder

​"Obsessive Cleaning Disorder LLC represents my neurodivergent experience.  I made a decision to quit my decade long career in software and start over, which started with a late ADHD diaganosis that I channelled into skills I enjoy. To me, the name reclaims the word ‘disorder’ and highlights my hyperfixation on tasks, like cleaning – not as a negative, but as a strength. While I respect that some may find the name controversial, I have thoughtfully engaged with people who shared similar experiences as myself, including my clientele with obsessive compulsive disorder in the naming process to ensure my choice would not be harmful to them. That said, different people's feelings will vary widely, and I also respect the opinions of those who feel hurt by my mission.  I provide a service that celebrates neurodiversity, turning ‘mess’ into something that can be made cleaner, both in the home, and mindspace.  My old roommate used to say "it has to get messier before it gets cleaner!" and I fully endorse it.
